Music In The Vines
We are excitedly looking forward to our next Music in the Vines on the 14th of January 2012 where we will have a number of local and visiting musicians performing in the vines. A day of total relaxation while islanders catch up with each other and wonder at the talent right here on the island. We welcome visitors to join us and meet the locals, try a glass of Unavale wine and sample the local produce.
Location & Climate
Our vineyard is located at Badger Corner on the southern end of Flinders Island. With views over Franklin Sound to the south and the Strzelecki Range providing a backdrop, it is located in one of most beautiful parts of the island.

Our History
Established in 1999 and the following 2 years, most of our vines are now mature and producing well. From trial plantings to ‘now’ has been a journey of patience and love which is now reaping rewards as it reflects in our great quality wines.
The Flinders Island Community
Flinders Island is situated in Bass Strait between Tasmania and the Australian mainland. Home to a community of around 850 people, it is becoming a popular tourist destination – a perfect getaway from the stresses of modern life.
